Short Synopsis

Irish Traditional music appears every Tuesday night on Second Ave in Manhattan's East Village in a place called Dempsey's Pub. Since 1998, a group ranging from thirty to fifty musicians show up to participate in the longest running session in New York City.

Led by banjo player John Nevin, the group welcomes all guests and visitors to sit in with the regulars, for an impromptu jam that runs until after midnight. Beautiful People, captures the spirit and passion of the group by focusing on ten of it's members, highlighting their diversity in what draws them together for this common interest.
