Kate Williams, originally from Connecticut, is an avid violist who plays classical music with the Brooklyn Symphony Orchestra in addition to attending the Dempsey's session every Tuesday night. After teaching high school math in New York City for the past five years, Kate recently began doctoral studies in Instructional Technology at Teachers College, Columbia University, and is exploring that passion for technology as an Instructor for New York Presbyterian Hospital.

She gives many thanks to her parents and sisters for their encouraging support, all her music teachers and conductors throughout the years, and a special shout out to all her friends at Dempsey's and the New York Celtic Music Meetup.
